Cartoon depicts a close-up of Sir Robert Muldoon's face. Muldoon is shedding one tear, on which appears a concerned face. The tear is saying "EEEEEEK! What am I doing here? He never had regrets for anything before." Relates to Muldoon's impending retirement from Parliament on 17 December 1991.

Refers to his founding of the New Zealand First Party, shortly before the 1993 general election.
